It's the time of the year again when bunnies will be out to scatter Easter eggs and lets you find where the golden one is. Still, i honestly do not know what's the connection between Easter eggs, the Lent and the Bunny. (Too busy to do some research about it, hahaha!) But i am in the look out for some fun activities for my kids this year to celebrate Easter Sunday!
It's been a while since we last joined an Easter egg-hunting activity and i thought of gathering here some awesome Easter egg hunting destinations or events which i have found around the area and South of Manila. You may want to check this out and decide where to bring your family to celebrate the Easter.

The summer heat is on! Can you feel it? I've been quite skeptical to go out these days due to the scorching sun. In fact, I've been staying indoors most of the time and yet i still sweat even without heavy work and it's quite uncomfortable. But that doesn't mean i hate summer! In fact, summer is one of my favorite season, not just because it's beach time, but because i get to play with summer colors, and light and comfy summer dresses. And i would love to share one here!
Good news, Southerners! Finally, the long wait is over! LANDERS SUPESTORE Alabang Branch has opened its doors last March 14, 2018. Mommies spent an afternoon of good, wholesome fun with Friso at the Wholesome Table in BGC on Thursday, February 15.
Hosted by Joy Mendoza, creator of TeachWithJoy.com and a believer of Friso Four, the “Friso Four LockNutri Workshop” served as a delightful post-valentine treat which included herb gardening activity and bento-making.
Did you know that germs can touch you, even if you don't touch them?
We all know that germs can be passed through person-to-person contact or touching dirty objects. What many of us don't know is that germs live in the air, too. If you believe that not touching anything or anyone can keep germs at bay, you better think again.
“#HANGINfection, technically known as Bioaerosols, refers to airborne germs such as bacteria, fungi and viruses that may cause skin reactions and respiratory sickness. Bioaerosols can come from a variety of sources, including soil, organic debris, humidifiers, air conditioners, and even farming and industrial pollution. The human body is also a source of bioaerosols: Shed human skin, coughing and sneezing can all contribute to airborne germs. These can make you sick in unexpected ways. For example, when you sneeze, most of the germs are transmitted at close range, but you need not be close to fall sick, as the smallest particles stay airborne and can travel as far as 20 meters.” says Dr. Pierangeli Vital, Ph.D. Biology (Microbioliogy), University of the Philippines Diliman.

Alden Richards teaches kids and families about the germs present in the air, may it be from smoke, dust, or from another person’s sneeze. |
Good thing, Safeguard, Philippine's Number 1 Family Skin Germ Protection Soap, partners with Pambansang Bae Alden Richards to spread the word about #HANGINfection and how to fight it. The fun part? They didn’t just make it informative. They also made it fun and nostalgic!
The "I Wash It That Way" music video gives a Backstreet Boys hit song a fresh spin to uncover the truth behind #HANGINfection. As told in the music video, #HANGINfection can reach us, including our children, even if we’re not touching anything or anyone. In short, we don’t just touch germs. They touch us, too!

“We know airborne germs are present in outdoor and indoor locations, and only Safeguard provides long lasting protection versus other soaps in the market,” says Ronaldo Puno, President of The Philippine Association of Medical Technologists, Inc. (PAMET).
For more than 50 years now, Safeguard has been providing Filipinos their first line of defense against germs, inhibiting the growth of disease-causing germs up to 24 hours after washing.

Wearing so many hats all at the same time, cooking has always been a challenge for a mom like me. There are times that i really love and enjoy cooking especially for my kids and my husband. But then, there are crazy times as well, that i feel like just eating what's in the can, toss them altogether in a bowl and heat it in the oven. Well, that's me, when I'm all alone, left with too many workloads, while hubby is at work and the kids in school.
I guess the love month just slipped through the 365 pages of my 2018. I wasn't able to feel the valentines! Speaking of valentines, just like chocolates, flowers and cakes, life is still and will always be sweet specially when I'm with my kids.
Hola! It's been a while since i last posted about my whereabouts and gastronomic diaries.
Did you miss me? Hahaha!
Life's been really busy ever since i had my newborn. And it seemed like i was moving on a fast lane for the past 6 months as i haven't blogged about anything personal, including my birthing story (which is on my drafts) and now my baby is turning 6 months in a week's time! Where did time go???
It's like i lose track of the blogosphere too, 'coz I've been feeling like an alien at this moment of writing. Hahaha! Well, I've really decided to take blogging on a slow pace except for some major projects and brand collaborations that i cannot turn down yet. But please don't be sad, because i will still be writing on this page once in a while but not as often like before due to my call of duty, career, family and new ventures for the year. I always love sharing meaningful thoughts and opinions because it is my creative release. But, i will be doing it on a slow pace this year.
One of the most exciting part of pregnancy specially on the last stretch is shopping for the baby's needs. From clothing, to feeding, changing supplies, bathing and grooming essentials and even to the smallest details, all of these needs to be prepared ahead of time. And it's always a good idea to plan early, at least a month or two before your expected date of delivery. We've done this a couple of months back and it was an overwhelming experience to be able to do it once again after 8 looong years! It's like having our very first born 10 years ago because i honestly do not know and cannot remember all of the essential things a new mom and a newborn baby should need. But ofcourse, it was fulfilling and very exciting at the same time.
Apart from the usual checklist which i will be sharing on another post, i'd thought of putting here together some of the brands that i use and had been using for ages while some of these are new to my experience.
