Perhaps, a long drive and a pleasurable staycation wouldn't be complete without a gratifying gastronomic experience. Agree? On our recent romantic escape (which i shared on my previous blog), we reserved a table for two in one of the quaint restaurants in Tagaytay City. The Pamana Restaurant, which has rave reviews from food bloggers is just a tumbling away from our hotel, and so i thought of giving it a try.

A Perfect Haven for Couples
Days and nights must be slipping so fast. Have you flipped your calendar yet? I just did it this morning and hello! It's February na pala! Welcome to the love month- the idyllic time of the year when flowers and chocolates are flooding! Women are giggling with glee, because finally, here's to a bunch of fresh red roses, a fluffy teddy bear or a sweet romantic escape! Kilig!
Speaking of escape, me and my husband recently had our anniversary staycation (and an advance valentine celebration too, before he left for work) at one of the most romantic place in the region, Tagaytay. Why not? It's chilly, scenic and a perfect quick destination for a total rest and relaxation. Not to mention the long list of nice restos ideal for a table-for-two dinner date.
When was the last time you celebrated an special occasion with your beloved one?
This is the year and January is the month when we celebrated our 10th year wedding anniversary. Did i just said 10 years? How fast time flies. It's been a decade past since we pledged for our vows and exchanged "I Dos", but what could be happier than to celebrate it with that one special person whom, for all these years has been my source of [stress], i mean strength and immeasurable happiness. Hahaha! Yes, i'm a happy wife to my husband of 10 years and this deserves a special celebration!
Taking advantage of the technology with the hassle-free convenience it offers to us is very significant nowadays. However, going tech-y can still have its own disadvantages and risks. I, for one, who does business and transactions through the internet can be a lot more prone to key loggers, hackers and other malicious applications that aims to corrupt and access my online personal information. Apart from establishing my own personal risk reduction modus, still, there are certain issues in the internet that cannot be foreseen, no matter how much we protect our online safety and privacy.
(A preview of my current read)
I'm actually the serious type of reader. I like inspirational volumes, business books and rarely do i read romance and novels. Why? Because i hardly finish it in one sitting, if i stop, i will forget about everything and will start all over again. But this one is a quick read that left me hanging for the happily ever after love story of Kit and Johnny or Kit and Will? Suddenly, my sleeping emotions, and kilig feelings from love stories went gushing through my nerves once again. Nakakabitin!
Okey, so let me just share this current read as quickly as i can.
I haven't been into some serious reading for quite some time now. You know, whenever i try to open a book, sit on the couch, sip a "mug" of my favorite coffee, i always end up sleepy. YES. SLEEPY. For some reasons i really don't know and i just don't care. Alam mo yun? After coffee and a few paragraphs from the book i'm reading, my eyes was like falling into a trap of a good nap or perhaps a sweet and sound sleep. Where's caffeine?

#PushPaMore
Hello readers and bloggers! Has anyone here missed me for the last two months or more that I've been MIA in the blogosphere? Allow me to greet you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! (Better late than never #peg) I'm so sorry for my inconsistency, the holiday madness occupied so much of my time and other deadlines made no room for blogging. I wish i could turn back time and [insert] something to fill up the space before the other year sleep forever. My supposedly year-end blog post ended up to be a new year post and the very first entry for the blank page of my 2016 diary. Anyhoo, it was indeed a great feeling to be back and start something positive and grossing for my hashtag project #PushPaMore2016.
Kids in the Business: Our First Kiddo+Preneur Christmas Bazaar Experience
Christmas Bazaar 2015 07:08
Earn. Save. Invest. Donate.
We send our children to school to learn. Perhaps, some children, just like my kids, learned about money at school in the subject called Math, but teaching them the value of money- how it is earned, how it should be spend, how to invest it and how to save, they would probably learn it from us, parents.
I can still remember during my younger years when my parents would tell me that i should study hard in order for me to get a job and then work hard in order for me to earn and save a lot. But when i landed on my first job, i just realized that with the elevated cost and standard of living, having a 9-5 job will never be sufficient to be financially stable. I kept telling myself, Why do i need to get stucked in the rate of my salary, working hard for a company, if i can be my own boss anyway?
No doubt, summer will always be the most exciting time of the year to book for a beach house, dig in the closet for bathing suits, pump up those floaters, fill up the picnic baskets and go for a swim! But with the complex series of climate change, especially the El Niño phenomenon happening in our country today, summer can mean anytime of the year, like December or for people like me and my family who always had a longing for total R and R- any day and any season is just perfect to hit the road for a short fun away especially on weekends.
(Warning! Photo Overload)
Gone are the days when paintings, arts and museum tours are deemed as boring. I'm glad that paintings, just like movies, were now revamped to 3-dimensional work of art that is interactive and fun for everyone. I must say that i am one of those few people who appreciates arts, especially paintings. If given enough resources to splurge on an auction for a prestigious painting i would love to have one for my home.
