Portraits From the Old Grove Farmstead

01:26

Happy Easter!

This is the first Easter Egg Hunting for my little son, Denzel and for the two older kids-- i don't know. Hahaha! I lost count, but all i can remember is we do celebrate Easter Sundays in different places since they were born. It came as an annual celebration that we all look forward to specially the Egg Hunting! For this year we celebrated Easter at the newly opened Old Grove Farmstead in Lipa City, Batangas.

We were a fan of the old Bluroze Farms in Lodlod Lipa City. We had countless memories of photoshoots, picnics and play dates there during its time. It's something we all miss, but today we were happy to know that a part of the old Bluroze Farm, Parks and Wildlife still lives in an upscale modern "farmville" concept. An entirely new place that continues to evolve and develop.

If i wasn't mistaken, the Easter Sunday feast was their soft opening, allowing the public to experience their amenities before they go all the way to opening on a regular basis. Thanks to Ms. Ruvi of Infinite Events Production for the invites and for securing our tickets!

I have posted this as a Weekend Series Vlog on my Youtube Channel. If you haven't watch it yet, please do! I'll just be sharing here some portraits we took during our visit. We had a wonderful time at the Egg Hunting activity. And right after that, we enjoyed swimming at their pool area. I book a cabana for only P800 but i think that was just their pre-opening rate. Entrance is just P250 for the kids as i can remember and P350 for adults.

My little one enjoyed the play area despite the scorching heat. Most of the facilities are still developing, construction still on-going. Kids enjoyed the animal feeding so much! They feed the ducks and the sheeps. The Big Red Barn holds their function area. It was huge and perfect for big parties like grand birthday celebrations and weddings. I wish to celebrate my son's 7th birthday here!

Animal feeds are available at a miniml fee, around P50-P100 per pack. The entire place is instagrammable. That's it! That's why most people love it here. It has the Netherlands feel with the lush ranch style surroundings, the windmill effect and the Big Red Barn.

We were not able to check the Cafe, but i plan to visit it again and try some of their food. Ofcourse, i would love to do a second round of photoshoots there! 'Coz why not?!

It has been a wonderful experience. Kids really enjoyed swimming and i enjoyed my time taking their photos. I also had mine! Syempre! It can be really hot and uncomfortable during the day, so i guess it is perfect to visit late in the afternoon when the sun is not really that high. Or probably early morning.
