Our Weekend at Expo Mom Goes South!00:24
The past week has been a busy week for me working for MumsDailyPH and the kids too. Adjusting to their schedules and school works plus my maiden bentosiasm in preparing their everyday lunch boxes is quite a tough job! But i thank God i just made it through the week and survived some business works all done ahead of my time schedule. So i find the weekend a perfect day to drive all the way to Alabang to visit ExpoMom Goes South- a MommyMundo event that I'm sure everyone is always looking forward to! I've got a few things to buy on my list and the whole Sunday is just enough for us to squeeze everything before the sun sets. So here's the highlight of our weekend!
Expo Mom is a mom-focused event by Mommymundo which features a lot of resources and essentials for pregnancy, breastfeeding, babywearing, active parenting and baby and kids' stuffs. And Expo Mom Goes South is quite different from the other ExpoMom event that happened just recently, because apart from its free entrance to the bazaar, they have partnered with three creative companies to provide the kids and parents FREE activities for the day!.
The event took place at Crimson Filinvest City Hotel. We came pretty early and after registering i was given free supply of magazines from Urban Mom and Working Mom. I have registered my kids at the arts and crafts activities ahead of time and as they all know they'll be painting some pots they can't wait to get in that instant!
First Activity: Terracota Pot Painting by Crafts & Party Bucket
Crafts and Party Bucket offers an original and distinctive party and craft ideas created exclusively. They also offer venue styling and venue decors, food cart rentals, photobooth rentals, chocolate fountain and candy buffet set-up, glitter tattoos, among others.
Their Arts & Crafts Party package is the perfect hassle-free affordable solution for special celebrations.
Second Activity: Arts and Crafts, Clay Play by Kids These Days MNL
Kids These Day MNL offers arts and crafts workshops for children and customized educational activities for kids' birthday parties or events. My kids didn't have the chance to participate in this activity because i got busy with some shopping and we went out to grab some lunch. We also attended our Sunday Service at Victory Alabang. But they did enjoy some reading materials and played some home-made clays!
Third Activity: Origami, Paper Quilling and Sand Art by Make My Day
Getting back to the event, the first activities which are the sand art making and origami is already done, but there's another activity prepared for some more kids by Make My Day. They did some paper quilling activity and the kids enjoyed it a lot! They made mommy a ring and an earring out of quilling!

Make My Day imports and distributes children’s gift and giveaway items. They introduces Toy Kraft which offers a wide range of toys providing children with a stimulating platform that fosters personal expression and intellectual growth. Their design and development team continues to make toys that inspire children to play, experiment, and discover.
On the main event: Expo Mom Goes South showcased the latest trends, products and services to today's active and involved modern moms. I was able to snap some photos of the brands that participated in the event.
We were planning and working out on our third baby (and i hope God will bless us soon, it's been 6 years already!) and thanks Expo Mom i already have these list of pregnancy, breastfeeding and baby essentials in case i'll be needing one of them soonest! Thanks Mommy Mundo for showcasing everything nice for the moms as always!
There are a lot of other brands which participated in the event like toys and other fun stuffs for the little tots. My kids bought some finger puppets from Ants Pocket and i got some Soyami Soya Styx from My Reese's Pieces Booth, i love the Garlic and she's got Sakura Dolls from Cebu that are just so adorable with their names on it!
The kids enjoyed some horse riding from Fun Ranch's booth too! Oh they love Fun Ranch, they grew up with it.
Not longer then before the sun sets, our activities for this wonderful Sunday ended. We drove back home happy and delighted.
Kids took home all their arts, crafts and of course their painted pots with plants on it. Now they got additional home chores to do after school. They needed to water their plants before doing homework. Right?
So how was your weekend with your kids? Hope you had a blast!
